Tutorials: 1.5 - Creating an Additional Character/NPC

a) Click the "Control Panel" menu item. Select the link, "Create Character" under the Characters section of the navigation list.

b) Select Non-playing or Playing Character. Playing characters will need to be approved. NPCs will be linked to your user account and should show up in the list when you click "All NPCs" from the Control Panel.

c) Click in the box under "Rank class" in order to be presented with the appropriate rank images. Use Red for Starship RP, Green for any non-naval ranks (Army/Marine/Air-Force), or General RP for stories without a military setting.

d) Select your character's specific rank. NPCs in Starship RP should not be greater than Ensign unless approved by your GM / Captain.

e) Select your primary Department. Note that the manifest (ship) shows in parentheses after the department. Be careful to select the correct manifest.

Note: If you have Standard (non-GM) access, NPCs may ONLY be added within a Manifest/Department which one of your PC characters already resides in.

f) Select the character's Primary position within the department you selected.

g) Fill out the remaining information. Second Department/Position is optional, in case the character serves two functions.

h) Click "Info" to fill out the detailed character information.
