Kobyashi Maru Simulation Day

"What a character" She wistfully said, she put the Padd down and got herself a mug of tea and returned to the seat, then something made her look at her crono. "Shiiiii!!!" She exclaimed. Putting her mug down she stood up quickly and grabbed her tunic as she left her quarters putting it on and doing it up as she walked quickly to the simulator room

- Simulator Room -

She arrived at the simulator room just before she was due to start her Kobyashi Maru, she was out of breath, but quickly recovered as she waited for her instructor to arrive.

Captain Vincent entered the holodeck to find the red-haired cadet standing in the middle of the room. He walked towards the cadet and pulled up his PADD to review her records.

"Cadet Alexandria Somers, welcome to the Kobayashi Maru Examination," he said. "Today you will face an impossible test. The simulation will test how you handle a no-win scenario. You will face death, as all Starfleet officers must during their careers, and you will face the extra challenge of leading others to face their deaths as well. Today you will be commanding the Akira-class starship, USS Mars. You have been assigned to escort a medical ship to the Chin'toka System. You must maintain the safety of the medical ship, so that it can cure a deadly plague on the planet. Are there any questions before we begin?"

Hiding her shock well oO Not the normal No win scenario I expected Oo she said to herself. "None at the moment Sir, I usually only ask a question if I want to know the answer, otherwise as a Marine I do my duty" She responded, then thought of a question.

"What type of plague is it? Also as it is the Chin'toka System I assume it will be a scenario with Dominion ships, possibly a Battleship or cruiser or two?" She asked.

"It is a plasma plague similar to that which threatened the Rachelis System in 2365," Captain Vincent responded. "And I do not know any more than you about the dangers that you may face during your patrol."

"My first Marine, " he thought. "I'll need to take notes on how she handles command of a starship."
