For excellence in leadership and bravery during Operation brave New World;  leading the rescue of the survivors of the USS Nuntio in the Azimuth Horizon universe, securing good relations with the native Draxx and helping at great personal risk to deal with the Zetarian threat.

For distinguished leadership and competence during the maiden voyage of the USS Phoenix, most notably during the initial exploration of the Sarabande ruins when faced with moral and ethical dilemnas regarding exploration.
