Anthony Jackson's life began in the early hours of the morning in a civilian medical center near a small community in Ohio. For the most of his life was raised by his parents along with his sister in their spacious apartment provided by Star Fleet. Most of Anthony's life was surrounded by the favors his father was able to do for him, and this caused a surge of rebellion from the constant stream of free rides and pre-determined acceptance. Star Fleet was responsible for his acceptance into private schooling, for his families living, and he privately suspected them for other coincidences as they occurred through the years.
Besides fighting with his parents now and again, Anthony turned to his interests when frustrated about life. He had a knack for the game of Shogi, and liked to participate in various strategy game tournaments on a small scale. Games like 'Strategema' did not appeal to Anthony however and refused to upgrade to the popular game. He comments that it did not support his play style of quiet misdirection and calmness because of its frenzy of activity. His grades in high school were only average however, and his father worried for his future. His love for his son pushed him to offer Star Fleet as a goal for his future, and further distanced their Father-Son relationship.
In 80068.95, Anthony Jackson was notably involved in a theft that involved sabotaging a storage facility's delivery of a small amount of Star Fleet maintenance supplies. During the illicit operation Anthony reprogrammed a security alarm for his accomplices. Though the alarm was successfully disarmed, he was caught leaving the facility and was hurt in an attempt to assault the employee who tried to stop him. Later a recruiter for Star Fleet would find out about his particular talents, and talked to Anthony about helping others with his skills.
Two years later, Anthony Jackson had graduated his high school after a focus in programming data systems. His record had become sound since the incident on 80068.95 thanks to a new found dedication to technical mathematics and change in attitude. His father encouraged him to pursue a career other than Star Fleet, but the revelation that he was not being forced to become a member grew the appeal to becoming one in Anthony's mind. The same summer as graduation, Anthony Jackson applied to Star Fleet Academy in San Fransisco. |
