Personal History		Maurs was born into a family of politicians on Earth. His one promise to himself was to live a successful life on his own, not have his future given to him by his parents. The best way he saw to do this was to enroll in Starfleet Academy and one day become an officer. His love for the sciences back on Earth drove him into the career path of a planetary geological science officer.
