Basic History

Personal History		Saelanna Navan was born on the Trill Homeworld, where she had a happy and secure childhood. When Saelanna was 12 years old her father was posted to Betazed as the Trill Ambassador and he took his wife Sialla and the young Saelanna with him. Syliatana had, by that time started her studies at the Trill Science Ministry (TSM) and did not accompany the family to their new home on Betazed. Saelanna remained on Betazed with her parents until leaving at the age of 18 to begin her own studies at the TSM. Saelanna has never wished to become a joined Trill and has instead applied her considerable intellect to the biological sciences instead, an area for which she has shown a natural talent. After graduation from the TSM with degrees in Exobiology and Entomology she submitted a successful application to join Starfleet Academy on the Science program.
Medical History
Service Record		Previous Assignments: One year as a cadet on the USS Ivan, Gemini Fleet. Current status: The only survivor of the Ivan disaster, she has currently resumed her duties in the science dept at Starbase 10 with the rank of Ensign.
