Cassandra Strider is a striking red-haired human female. Her emerald green eyes convey her emotions most of the time when she allows them to. She normally wears her red hair tied back behind her head in a pony tail per Starfleet regulation. She has the pale complexion that usually accompanies someone with her physical traits.
She is a calculating security officer and her body is toned and in shape from numerous hours spent on the holodeck performing any number of martial arts including kenpo, karate, kung fu, Klingon Mokbara as well others. |

Cassie Strider was born on Luna Colony to Steven and Elizabeth Strider. Both of her parents were born in Dublin on Earth and each moved to Luna at a young age where they met and eventually married. Steven was a Starfleet officer and retired as a captain from Starfleet where he had a solid career but eventually decided he was tired of being away from his wife and daughter. Cassie is Steven and Elizabeth's only child. |

Cassandra Strider was born on Luna Colony, and led a fairly normal childhood. Normal for the daughter of a Starfleet officer anyway. Her father Steven was a Commander when she was born and would later command the Defiant Class USS Shiloh.
Cassie joined Starfleet with her father's full endorsement and graduated in the top ten percent of her Starfleet Security Class. She was posted to her father's former command the Shiloh as an ensign and served there for two years before distinguishing herself on an away mission where she saved the life of the Shiloh's first officer. She was promoted two ranks for her selfless actions and accepted a position on the USS Sovereign, the ship of the line for that class.
Cassie had been on the Sovereign for less than a year when she was contacted by Section 31. The shadowy organization had been watching the young security officer since her academy days and now wanted to bring her into their fold. Cassie initially resisted their recruitment attempts but after a series of run-ins with her superiors on the Sovereign she resigned her post and joined them.
It was in working for Section 31 that she met Brian Archer. The two quickly gelled as a team working as partners for the better part of a decade and taking on some of the most dangerous missions Section 31 had to offer. Their record together was flawless until the one mission that made them both decide they had had enough of Section 31. |
