Basic History

Personal History		Johnny was born in the North American continent city of Saint Louis, where his family traces its roots to the city's founding nearly six hundred years ago. Johnny inherited his brains from his mother, and stature from his father. He grew up with machines and robots, and was good at taking things apart and putting them together from a young age. He became a lab assistant to his mother, and was a fast learner. He accompanied her to a speaking engagement at Starfleet Engineering, and that trip convinced him that Starfleet was in his future. He took up studies in warp field theory and found it enjoyable. When he informed his parents of his future plans, they were not amused. His entering the Academy estranged him from his parents, but he was bitten by the explorer bug and saw his destiny in the stars. He has reconnected with his mother recently, but his father still won't talk to him.
