Niomo’s father was born in Milan and his mother was born in Sicily. Once they were married they had two children, Ignatius and Niomo the II. A few years after Niomo was born, Niomo the I became captain of a cargo freighter; and therefore, the family moved from Laca di Como to San Diego. Niomo was 5 at the time and Ignatius was 10. The family lived in relative happiness for a few years. Niomo loved to hear tales of his father’s experiences while flying around the Alpha Quadrant. Unfortunately, at the age of 15, Niomo’s father’s freighter suffered a severe breach in the anti-matter injector which eventually caused a Warp Core Breach. All hands were lost and at this point, Niomo became infatuated with technology and warp core dynamics. Ig had his own idea of why his father’s freighter exploded and enlisted in Starfleet under the Tactical division in order to one day take revenge. Niomo entered Starfleet Academy fourteen years ago and now has finally arrived at SFRD in order to see if he is ready to see the stars.
