Lt. Commander Josh Vincent

Josh stands 5 ft 8 in tall and has a lean body. He is well toned, but not rippling with muscle. His red hair is cut short and he is generally clean shaven. His eyes are a deep blue, with a scar cutting across his left eye socket.

Maria and Tim met as young children and became close friends. Their friendship grew over the years, eventually blossoming into true love. Tim was an engineer assigned to Utopia Planetia, where he worked on several starship designs including the Defiant Class and Maria was a schoolteacher. With the outbreak of the Dominion War Tim was transferred aboard the U.S.S Odysseus and sent to the frontlines. Maria remained on Earth, moving to Minnesota to teach. they conceived a child on Tim's last day before redeployment. While Tim was serving as XO aboard the Odysseus, his captain, and best friend, betrayed the Federation and joined the Maquis. While Tim was trying to apprehend him a Dominion squadron ambushed and destroyed Odysseus, killing all hands.

Josh is a generally introverted person. He does not easily place trust in people, but once he decides to call someone a friend he will remain loyal until the end. The few relationships that he does have are held together by the strongest bonds if friendship.

Very adept at working alone and adapting to a situation. Lacking in teamwork and trust.

His father's death, and the betrayal that caused it, is the first memory that Josh has. The story surrounding his fathers death became a very important factor in his development, leading him to become a very closed and distrustful person for many years. He became determined to avoid any betrayals in his life by becoming a tactical expert with the best intelligence gathering in the galaxy. He had high grades in school and intended to join Starfleet Academy as soon as possible, but life had other plans. His mother became deathly ill weeks before he was to begin his first year at the Academy and he chose to move back to Minnesota to care for her. He stayed with his mother for several years and upon her death in 2396 he began his education at the Academy. After graduating with a honors he served in Starfleet Intelligence for years. His only regret during his time with Intelligence is that he was unable to continue his relationship with a close friend, Nidiri.

Suffered several broken bones over the years during martial arts competitions; all have been healed. No serious conditions.
