Towering Andorian shen (fertile female) with regal features and very defined musculature and the typical high tone and metabolism of her species. Darker skin and knobby antennae on the top side of her head identifies her of the Thallassan subspecies.

Tyvya is of clan Endilev reknown for being the makers of Andorian Ale.

Clan Endilev is one of the most ancient and well known Andorian clans and has tremendous political power on the planet  because of the galactic success of their Andorian Ale; a blue beverage very lightly alcoholic but with a spicy taste all life forms find envigorating. Her father is therefore a high ranking, influential politician in the Conclave leading the planet and his mother heads the Commercial and Economic Consortium of Andoria. The birth of Tyvya, their only child, was for them the promise of enduring power and prestige of the clan... until she decided, instead of following family tradition, to join Starfleet.

Tyvya was never encline to do what she is told, even at al early age. And with her body rapidly becoming bigger and stronger than even most of her kind, it became increasingly difficult to do so. Moreover, she craves challenges to her strenght, her intelligence and her resourcefulness. And one day, she attempted to handscale the Great Wash alone. The massive volcanic formation is so steep and so treacherous now that a glaicer covers it that she fell and nearly died; but she was saved by a monk and nurtured back to health until she could get back to civilization. She never told anyone of what hapened... except her current husband, Kheren, which she saw and learned about while being there, as he had been raised there.

He was the reason she left Andoria behind to join Starfleet. Not only was he, as a mutant pariah, living the exciting, distinctive life she craved for, but he was much like her but also a master duellist she could not best even in close combat,  even stronger than she was and with a cunning was astounding, by then an accomplished commanding officer in the Imperial Guard... andmost of all, he was reknowned, good or bad, for what he was and what he did, not for the family he was born into... since he had none; things she dreamed for herself.

When he, unknown to all, left Andoria for P'Jem to get his Vulcan education, she lost track of him and became quite restless, finally also joining the Imperial Guard and rising swiftly to the ranks of their Marines; to the weary pride of her family. When she learned of Kheren joining Starfleet after an incident at space station K7, she immediately left Andoria to enlist also in tactical and Security. Her family threatened to disown her to which she didn't even bother to reply. She was going to make a life for herself, not take the one that had been given her.

When she graduated with Honors, she had every choice of career and she thus succeeded in getting recruited by the elite division of Starfleet and, once there, to get posted on the same ship as Kheren; the flagship USS Lotus. Since then, she never left his side, up to the day he earned command of his own starship. And when he almost killed himself to ensure the success of Operation Horizon, she was there to die with him.

But they survived, despite the odds, and during the event, she bonded with Kheren and the chief Counselor, the Aenar Lyrya, her Academy best friend and eventually lover, in order to save him from systemic death from heat exposure. It succeded because Kheren had always been seduced by her both as a female of his species and an officer, but still kept his distances out of professionalism and fear of dragging him into his ostracized status. They are now married under Andorian and Federation law, even if their union, being a triad instead of a quad thanks to Kheren's mutated male gender fusion, is probably the most unusual one in Andorian memory.

Needless to say, her family is not pleased...

Headstrong, impulsive and temperemental but has learned a good degree of self-control over the years. Extremely disicplines and professional like all Andorians but not as aloof and distant as most of her kind towards non-ghelnoids.

Very steady, cool-headed and pro-active in tense situations. But she is more prone to sudden violence than the usual Andorian norm and will have no compulsion to kill if ship, captain, spouses or family are threatened.

To raise a family far from Andoria where her unusual size and strenght had estranged her from much of her kind. marrying Kheren and Lyrya is now the final step to attain her goal. But she also wish for a successful and fulfilling career in Starfleet, so she is not quite ready for family life just yet.

She has a fascination with all hand to hand combat styles (she is a master of Hesvalath, the brutal Andorian wrestling style) and collect ancient weaponry from all worlds she visit. Most of her free time is spent either on the target range or in the practice gym.

Tyvya suffered from broken legs after a fall during a freehand mountain climbing attempt on her homeworld; now completely mended.

She also suffered heat and radiation exposure during Operation Horizon but was quickly and efficiently treated by the EMH of the USS Lotus and further treated by the reinforcing effects of the Andorian mating bond that occured also at the time.

Physiologically, she is a genetic giant, her condition treated and now stable before she could develop any of the inconveniences of it. her sight is therefore intact, her heart in perfect health and her bone and muscular structure higher than even the impressive Andorian norm but not to the point of threatening to cripple her in her old age. She is exceedingly resilient and strong, effectively one of the very rare Andorians who can match a Vulcan in strenght.

Psychologically however, she can match even Klingons in agressiveness and Tellarites in stubborness; but she can also show herself as cunning as a Romulan when she sets her mind on something... like she did to marry Kheren. Her current union with him and the Aenar Lyrya has done a lot to stabilize her attitude. In other words, she is fully happy and starting to live the life she always dreamed of. It is expected that any threat to this hapiness will get a swift and probably violent response from her.

- Graduated from Starfleet Academy in tactical/Security specializing in small unit tactics and with high marks in personal combat courses.

- Assigned to USS Aurora, Lotus Fleet Academy ship, as security officer with the rank of Ensign

- Assigned to USS Lotus, Lotus Fleet flagship, as assistant chief of security and tactical officer with the rank of Ensign. Earned one commendation for excellence in duty

- Assigned to USS Artemis as assistant chief of security and tactical officer with the rank of Ensign. Earned 4 commendations for excellence in duty

- Assigned to USS Horizon, Lotus fleet new flagship, as assistant chief of security & tactical officier with the rank of Lt JG
