Roll Call for Episode 3!

Greetings Fleetmates!

For the past year or so, our LF roleplayers have been engaged in out first ever multi-parted adventure which at this point is titled; SHATTTERED DREAMS. And everyone is invited to join for the last climatic part of this saga!

For those who want to read the stories and not get spoilers, DO NOT HIGHLIGHT THE DARKENED AREAS.


It all started with A LITTLE TRAINING CRUISE.

Under their Academy instructor, cadets at the prestigious Lotus Fleet branch of Starfleet Academy underwent the final part of their 4 years training; the much anticipated Cadet Cruise. The 4 most promising cadets were allowed a rare privilege; act as bridge officers of an actual commissionned starship, the USS Alsea.

With its multivector assault system, the Prometheus class warship, needing to be tested after repairs and refit, offered a unique opportunity to hone their skills.

Barely a light year away from Starbase Lotus, a space anomaly cut them off from all contact, just as a disaster beacon signal reached them; too brief and weak for anyone else to have received it. Under General Orders, they had to respond immediately; only to find that it came from dueling ships of a bygone era, caught in a remnant of the dreaded Azimuth Horizon, a spatio-temporal distorsion that was now threatening to swallow them too... and the universe once again.

The cadets proved their worth, ending the threat and escaping their predicament; only to cross path with an unknown vessel of immense power and bizarre technology. They barely managed to fend it off. Again, their little training cruise proved them to be worthy of a Starfleet uniform.


And then, it was up to MEN OF GOOD CONSCIENCE.

The cadets' encounter stirred calls of invasion, from an unknown hostile force using the dreaded omega particle as their power source. It quickly put Starfleet on a war footing. The threat was too serious to waste time with diplomacy or scientific inquiry.

That did not sit well with several veteran officers of Lotus Fleet. 

Refusing to go to war on such terms, Captain Kheren of Lotus Fleet's flagship Horizon and Captain Syntron of the lead science explorer Phoenix resigned their commission. In solidarity, all Andorians in Starfleet resigned also, while Vulcans and other officers demanded better data before committing to such drastic, irrevocable action.

Starfleet was in shambles; and many feared others like the Klingons or the Romulans might take advantage of it. It only added fuel to the fire.

But Kheren and Syntron were not alone wanting to find the truth behind this sudden hawkishness of the Federation. Commander Rogers joined them in an attempt to steal a mothballed starship and go find the intruders; only to be foiled by Captain Jureth and Lieutenant-Commander Sorripto, intent on doing the exact same thing with Jureth's ship, the Alsea. They joined forces and took the warship away to the edge of the galaxy, where the intruder ship was last seen fleeing.

Beyond the Great Barrier, indeed they found the intruder ship; and the lost USS Achilles with it's mad hololifeform of the infamous Khan Noonien Singh; and a real threat coming straight for the heart of the Milky Way:

The Doomsday Machine; three of them.

The rogue officers risked life and limb to stop the monstrous menace, helped by the sacrifice of the intruders. Iconians coming back from the Andromeda galaxy to help their original home. The veterans tamed the Achilles, faced the planet-killers... just as the USS Horizon came in hot pursuit. But captain Redding didn't come to arrest them as per official orders, but to give them shadowy support. The higher ups of Lotus Fleet too questionned the Federation's orders; even if not openly... yet.



And now it comes down to this: ENEMY: STARFLEET.


Veterans and cadets will now join forces for a final showdown with whoever or whatever is forcing the Federation onto a senseless warpath; one that is now looking at the Klingon Empire, the remnants of the Romulan Star Empire, the quieted Dominion...

Will anyone else join them to restore peace and reason?

 Commander Rogers reporting in Sir. Who? Now just a god damn minute, I'm the engineer ...

Hey it works. Sorripto is in and ready to take the Alsea also Cadet Gunner is ready and I still have several other characters who can play or cameo all of whom owe Sorripto a favor or two.

Glad you finally landed your shuttle Sorripto.

If you have other characters, you can have them participate in other ''theaters of operations.'' So far we have;

- The Alsea (where Sorripto will be in command while Jureth is incapacitated)

- The Delta Flyer Dawn from the Horizon (where captain Kheren will be in command and Gunner ''drafted'' to assist him with the other cadets)

- The Horizon (where Redding will be in command and implicated in the first part at least of the retrieval of the Phoenix so more character slots here)

- The Achilles (where BLZBUB will be in command but any added help will be appreciated)

- The Phoenix once Syntron takes it back ( IF he takes it back... ah the suspense! Character slots open)

- Starbase Lotus (where Samji, Kotari and Admiral Redding works and support behind the scenes... and with possibly other officers)


So, lots of room for lots of fun for lots of people!

Apologizing again for not being on in a while but we finally got our house sold and I have to start packing it up.
We still have to find some place to move TO and will start looking this thursday but until we do we'll be staying with her grandmother again.
I still plan on jumping in but it will sporatdic and I'll likely be off line for a few days at some point.
And to be honest.. I completely forgot about this for like the last week or so.
Lots of open house's and packing.. as well as a 4 YO.
But anyway, I'll do what I can.

update, had to move to a temporary placement and it has poor internet ability, still looking for a new place.
We had one lined up but it didnt get a great inspection so it's been delayed until it is addressed.
