Hopefully
So far, here is the sequence of events as I understand it:
1-We'll Always Have Paris
2-Tinker tailor Soldier Engineer and From an engineering point of view (both starts somewhat before We'll Always Have Paris then overlap Vulcan In Limbo)
3- Vulcan in Limbo
4-Beg borrow or steal
5- Shadowplay (it's beginning overlapping with the end of Beg Borrow or Steal)
Hope that makes sense to you gentlemen.

So, from here shall I continue in Beg, Borrow or Steal or do you want to hold off and start a new post that will bring everyone together?

Re: Men Of Good Conscience OOC
If you wish to add something that would be from your specific perspective. You may continue on your present post. I should be concluding soon my angle of things with BLZBUB's Rogers.
Our separate teams could end up on a next common post targeting both the Lotus and inadvertently bump into each other. Maybe each other at odds at the start, until all realize none is there to hamper or arrest the other but in fact unknowingly working towards the same goal.
Then things could come together. Jureth would provide the ship, even get the transwarp of the Lotus through official channels so he and Sorripto could install it with no risk to their career; same with Rogers automating the Alsea as a security measure asked for by the captain... while Syntron could have also been hired by the captain as a computer consultant to upgrade the systems... and test an evacuation alarm so only our fearless 5 would be aboard to take the Alsea out before anyone can stop her...
Kheren's plan would be to play the role of a rebellious former officer hijacker so that only he, a civilian, would be accused of any wrongdoing. Jureth, Sorripto and Rogers would not face court martial or worse, and Syntron could escape sentence as another civilian asked as a computer consultant by the captain and who was duped and kidnapped during his evacuation test by the criminal Andorian exploiting the situation at the right moment...
That's how Kheren would want things to play out; to do what must be done and have the others spared as much as possible.
Of course, some among your PCs may see things a bit differently...

Re: Men Of Good Conscience OOC
I have added a personal perspective to round out mine and Sorripto's current post.
As the mission commander Jureth could probably go direct to Samji with the proposal for taking the drive off the Lotus or at least with getting permission to examine it for possible parts.

To do so officially, he would need to see Samji about it for sure.

Re: Men Of Good Conscience OOC
So? Any ideas on how to get this ragtag bunch of misfits together in a 'accidental' way? Or a purposeful way?
I would suggest somewhere near the ship's docking bays, which are: Upper - Deck 139, Lower - Deck 185. So somewhere near those decks I would think.
just an observation.

Re: Men Of Good Conscience OOC
This could be both a comedic and dramatic meeting of the minds. The two groups could each independently decide to steal the Alsea and then meet at the dock, or both be aboard the ship and meet on the bridge only for the obvious answer to be to work together. It could be a dramatic thing where one person says they must do it alone and the others go along in support or something like that.

Re: Men Of Good Conscience OOC
My thinking exactly.
Kheren is worried about the career and reputation of the others; having already decided to commit himself and assume the consequences, starting with his resignation (thus only a criminal or civilian court can prosecute him, not Starfleet, and no one of his crew or followed him will be). So we will propose to play the abductor so that the others will not be prosecuted once this over and he brings himself up to the authorities.
We'll see what the others will have to say about that.

Any thoughts on a helmsman? I can bring in an NPC or use the onboard holograms like during the cadet cruise.

Re: Men Of Good Conscience OOC
I figured it would be one of us. While the holograms fit the narrative of a training cruise I would figure that would be a waste of energy given the current set up. Plus the narrative is us taking ship and doing the mission. Filling out our ranks with a hologram to me personally feels kind of cheap. I mean you have several engineers, why not have Sorripto fly, given that he is the one using the engine, and have Rodgers or Syntron sit engineering. Or Sorripto can stay in engineering and one of them can run helm. There are options, but I think at this point it should be one of us. Captain, helm, tactical and engineering are the four positions a physical person can be the rest can be run by us doing side jobs.
