Assignment: This mission can be for any ship with any configuration.
Description: While on patrol, the USS (Name) comes across the long missing USS Great Lakes, a ship that had been listed as missing for almost 25 years. After detecting several life forms aboard, a team is sent to investigate.
Upon arrival, the members of the away team begin to hear an odd, soothing buzzing noise and are attacked by a feral insectoid creature. One of the members of the away team is suddenly infected with a strange spore. The spore spreads to the rest of the away team who realizes the surviving crewmembers weren't attacked by the creatures, they were the creatures.
It then becomes a race against time to save the away team and, if the Captain wishes, save the ship in the case of it spreading to the ship itself.
Mission Objectives:
- Discover the origins of the Great Lakes and what happened to get it into this state.
- Find a cure for the infection.
- Survive while fighting both an internal and external foe.
