I no longer hold any hope for Star Trek.
To me it's now either a dry well or a poisoned one.
Either I accept that it's time to move on to a new well (If I can find one) or drink the poison and stay sick until I can stand no more.
My only hope is that it will die and one day be resurrected after the SJW fade passes.
Same with Star Wars.

Moving on might be indeed the best option.
But we still have the memories... and DVDs, blue rays, VHS, books and all from when Star Trek was Star Trek and Star Wars also was made, not exploited.
Still have my old Starfleet Battles game even... and Lotus Fleet of course.

Certainly not
I have the first edition of it and all the expansions plus the strategic Federation Space offshoot of it. So many years of gaming fun.
I remember being at a game convention seeing a Starfleet Battles tournament where the Klingon players all commmunicated in Klingonee! It was epic!

I started rewatching TNG, and I can say that if the rumors turn out to be true I will be truly and utterly devastated.

With the removal of the man responsible for the end of Enterprise and giving us this awful mess that is DISC, we are freed from one of the main architects of Trek's downfall.
Now, if we can get rid of Kurtzman as well, we might see real Trek back someday.
