Cadet Challenges can yield a lot of great items that are otherwise hard to get. IDICs and Science Experiments come to mind. This is sometimes at the expense of better rewards because the mission has to be done at Normal or Elite levels instead of Epic to yield the difficult items/components.
Does anyone know of a good guide for this?
