Planned ships for the next round of assignments will follow below.

Readiness will be confirmed following the established criterias:

- Ship availability
- Commanding officer (GM) availability
- Minimal crew availability (2+ players)
- Mission approved (RP dept approved story; use the RP mission profile form to propose a new story (Roleplay section\RP information\Mission developpement\ Mission introduction )   or here:

 Note that this is open to any fleet member, not just captains or roleplayers. An award is earned if your story is picked up and played to conclusion by another ship than the one you play on)

Active ships will be confirmed in yellow. Mission may start then at the earliest convenience on the RP site. Contact RP director if you need your mission to be activated.

To all captains:

So far the Horizon, the Hoshea and the Millenium are ready to launch. Discovery only needs a mission\story to launch.

Please confirm your readiness to launch if you are not listed above so that final crew assignation can be achieved early next week.

During next week will start a short Starbase Lotus story entitled "New Horizon" where all PCs and ships to be launched will be officially presented along with their upcoming mission and assignments.

Readiness to launch means:

- Confirming willingness to lead a story (with approriate PC character)
- Choose a ship to command (if a new ship, complete logistics including deck listing and responsibility must be given and approved)
- Choose a mission\story (from the mission developpement list of approved stories or making one to be approved uding the mission idea form)
- Having 2+ PCs to play with you (this part is already covered as the RP director can fulfill one role and we have enough other PCs to fill the roles of several additional ships. If no new ship launches, all remaining officers will be distributed among the active ship, starting with the flagship.)

By the middle of next week, once the story starts, all PCs will be assigned to active ships. Other ships will have to wait for the next round of missions to launch after that, unless new PCs come to participate.

ATTENTION CAPTAINS AND CREWS

We have four starships ready for deployement. Any other captain wishing to launch must have his ship ready by Friday at the latest (name, class logistics, captain and story), or all remaining crewmembers will be assigned to the current four vessels deployed:

Players owning these characters, please confirm your willingness to play another third character on another ship than your primary and secondary characters. As you all have already two PCs in play, make sure that if you do, you do not overburden yourself to the point that your other characters fall behind in participation.

Tomorrow at the latest starts the short starbase story to have everyone meet , ships presented and missions officially assigned. This will also give time for captains\gms to get ready for their own ship story.

TO ALL CAPTAINS:

Please confirm your readiness to start your ship mission when convenient. 

The current joint story (NEW HORIZON) is coming to a close. only the specific assignments to the remaining PC ships (Horizon, Hoshea and Discovery) as defined by your approved story, are left to be given. Then, each ship story will start.

TO ALL PLAYERS:

As long as people want to interact within or add scenes to this joint story, we will continue it until everyone is satisfied and ready to move out. There are also a few players that still have to join us actively in this starting episode so we will give them a bit more time to do so.

After that, hopefully by the end of next week depending on captain\ship readiness, it will close with a last post featuring Samji and Kotari reflecting on those new ships, crews and missions.

ATTENTION ALL CAPTAINS:

Your ship manifest is up. Please have your dept heads fill up with you their respective departments with NPCs needed for the mission.

Those that were dept head on another ship and move to a new one may bring their NPC staff with them or create an entirely new one using the character creation tool on the rp site.

It is recommended that at least one assistant chief being made by the captain\GM.

This way, if the PC\player becomes temporary or permanently inactive or some urgent scene needs fast response, the Captain\GM can take over with the NPC assistant character and assume ICly the chief is occupied elsewhere without holding up or disrupting the story.

In the same way, a PC should be designated as acting XO if none is of the appropriate rank, preferably the most experienced PC\player aboard for the same reason. If the captain is unavailable, the XO can take over so that the story does not stall for everyone else, just like in the episodes where Kirk or picard or Archer gets wounded\captured\missing etc

We end the joint starbase episode and we launch as soon as captains a re ready to lead their story and players ready to play.
