Joining LF in Star Trek Timelines

I started playing recently, now that it is accessible from a computer (because I have no smartphone). I've read the official message and changed my in-game name to (LF) Kheren.

However, I am unable to put Brigham into my friends list because I am unable to make the squared brackets for his name. I can only do (LF) and {LF} but not the square ones because I have no clue how to access them on the keyboard. Using Maj, Alt or Alt gr or Ctrl or combinations of them does not work. Hence why my own name uses easy to type parentheses.

I also play timelines regularly when I'm on the go. I was in the mobile Lotus Fleet before, but I got knocked out somehow. I'd join too if you like, I can PM my DBID if that would make things easy
