RP assistance?

Sorry if this is the wrong place but I dont have authorization to post in any of the RP forums even though it says I can get assistance there.  

The 'RP 101 (how to join)' link on the left hand side of the layout is still broken.

I really enjoy RP - its one of my main motivators.  I would like to do some with the fleet soon.

Currently our RP is on a bit of hiatus while our RP admin/site manager Fleet Captain Evshell makes some improvements to the RP site, and while we revamp the RP fleet a bit.

We just concluded our second Fleet Action Azimuth Horizon Crusade, and when we pick things up again in the very near future we will be ready to accept new players for brand new missions. Evshell will make a general announcement when everything is ready to start so just keep watching the boards!

Indeed you can read the RP stuff we have on the site, including downloading previous stories to wet your appetite.

In the Academy, you  might also want to do the Kobayashi Maru and the Survival test courses as they are essentially RP based.

There is only the award ceremony to conclude with the current FA and then we should be rolling forward to regular ship RP and player recruiting soon!

We old timers are as eager as you are to start anew with the next season (and the new blood!) so stay tuned!

Very well put gentlemen. We will indeed try to make things more user-friendly and available in the next few weeks as we iron some stuff out.

Just a note that you also have to be a graduate of the Academy to apply for RP, so keep up with that in the meantime!

I for one am really looking forward to the end of the current RP so I can see where my character is headed.  I also eagerly await the new ship assignments as our next generation of crews emerge.

Things moving toward that end, do not worry:

- Award ceremony for Fleet Action and season 2 is coming up (captains are sending proposals)
- Captain candidates are being interviewed (half of them done)
- New ships are being finalized (at least 2; final active number at the launch of season 3 will depend on number of registered active players)
- New rules are being considered to allow even better participation and play opportunities
- Transfer of all RP data from the old site to this one is about to be completed (by week's end presumably) for new players to get acquainted with (and old ones to get a refresher!)

Things might be done and ready before you know it!

As for your character: the RP director is working on an aftermath specifically for Sorripto. To be played out of course! (if you're willing to, it goes without saying). Of course, there will be consequences for his actions... especially if your character still wishes to serve in Starfleet, (OOC: continue playing  that character) a hard battle awaits him... and hard times afterwards, if he succeeds... but all is not lost!

There is also a Board of Inquiry for my character as well coming up... As I said, there are always consequences, good or ill, to one's actions. All RPers take note

You will be contacted soon by Evshell about this. As for the rest of us, old and new RPers, let us be a little more patient for a while longer... It will be worth the wait when Season 3 starts!
