Hello this is Grayfox from Liberty Task Force and STOFA. I posted on your forums yesterday and today. I hope that we may talk sometime either in he game or a TeamSpeak server. If I may be so bold to ask a few questions about your fleet:


1. Do you have a KDF fleet?
2. What Tier/Level are your Fleet(s)
3. What is your roster count?
4. How many are active members logging in regularly? What's the average number of players online at once?
5. Does your fleet use TeamSpeak?


I ask these questions to see if we would be a good fit for an armada. We are looking for gamma spots but really want to look for active fleets that work as a community. I'd love to enter more talks with you. Our armada right now consists of 4 fleets, so of course we make decisions together in picking the gamma fleets. Take care.

Thank you for your inquiry Grayfox. Here's a quick summary:

1. Yes we have a KDF fleet, but it is not as active or complete... though we'd like to rectify this

2.  Federation side (as of today)

-Fleet Level: 42

-Starbase: Tier 4 (working on V)

-Dilithium Mine: Tier 3

-Research Lab: Tier 0 (although there are Research and Developments projects in progress)

-Spire: Tier 3

3. It looks like we have 50 registered in STO and almost 150 on our website, but many of these may no longer be active.... some due to technical reasons... others may have drifted elsewhere.
Regularly Active in STO at the moment.... a handful or two.... but we can at times muster up more when we announce events ahead of time.

4. Activity in STO hasn't been as steady as it was years ago, but that may be true of many fleets today. We are also exploring the possibilities of Armada/Alliances with other fleets as well. Do you have a link to your Fleet's website? You can learn a lot about our fleet and STO activity/involvement/plans, etc... from our STO thread http://www.lotusfleet.org/forums/viewforum.php?f=7  and STO updates in our fleet Newsletters http://www.lotusfleet.org/forums/viewforum.php?f=76

5. If you look on our sites sidebar (left) you can see the Teamspeak 3 information. So yes, we use TS3 for meetings and in-game playing.  
As far as a community, we are a very strong and skillful community. This has been an active fleet that has endured a variety of obstacles and setbacks over these past 7 years, yet we are still here.

I enjoyed our conversation today and hope you got all the information you were looking for. I think you have a great fleet here that has stood the test of time and have proven to be true Star Trek fans.

i personally think we have very similar goals for an online Star Trek gaming community. Sorry if I seemed a bit distracted, these days logging into the game nets me like 5 pm's, 3 emails, my house phone, and text messages as well all at the same time

Depending how long ago the last connection occurred, there has been quite a bit of transformation over these past years in Lotus Fleet, including a new home on this site several years ago.
