I am terribly sorry I missed the fleet meeting today. And also, I failed to warn the staff I was away.
2 weeks ago my son had an ATV accident and was sent to hospital in Edmonton. Last Tuesday, after surgerey he came out alive with a steel plate screwed to his pelvis. I returned home today after being by his side for a couple days, and plan to be going back day after tomorrow.
To the staff and members at the meeting today ... I was very late and I am sorry. I usually have a chance to indicate that I will or will not be able to attend.
I write this not as an excuse, but as a simple apology to the membership whom have taken the time to attend the meeting.
Respectfully:
BLZBUB

Re: Universal Apologies...
Nothing comes before your family. If you had time to let us know, you would have been with your son just that few minutes later. Time that you will never get back.
I hope everything is going well now?

Re: Universal Apologies...
Thanks guys and gals. Orion was released from hospital and is now at home driving his girl friend crazy!
8 screws holding a steel plate, 25+ staples on the gash on his leg and using a wheelchair and walker for now until the pelvis heals well enough to walk unassisted. We are truly blessed that he is alive, along with his brother & sister whom were riding with him at the time.
May have to loan him my Grandfather's old cane after a while.
