Fleet Dilithium Mine!

With this, the Fleet can earn .. ""expanded environments, discounts on dilithium costs, daily dilithium mining missions and other amenities.""

Tier 1 unlocks the interior and Tier 2 unlocks the exterior: <--- where an EV suite is required. I'll paste some of the benefits:


Dilithium Mine (Main Track)Progressing through the main track of the Dilithium Mine will reward the fleet with expanded environments, discounts on dilithium costs, daily dilithium mining missions and other amenities. This track gains experience via completion of upgrading your Trade and Development sub-tracks. Some of the reward highlights for the Dilithium Track are:

• Three tiers of discounts on fleet project dilithium input costs
• Construction projects that unlock discounts on most dilithium stores for all fleet members
• Daily dilithium mining missions
• Daily mission to refine additional Dilithium Ore beyond your cap

Trade (Sub-Track)Upgrading the Trade track will grant fleet project item input discounts and access to advanced engineering consoles. The rewards found in this sub-track are:

• Three tiers of discounts on fleet project item input costs
• Three tiers of fleet advanced engineering consoles
• Reduced recharge time on the Call Trade Freighter power (Azura II, Vov’wl, Suliban Cell)

Development (Sub-Track)Progressing through the development sub-track will grant fleet mark discounts on fleet projects, access to special duty officers and duty officer assignments, as well as fleet warp cores. The specific rewards found in this sub-track are:

• Three tiers of discounts on fleet mark fleet project input costs
• Advanced Fleet Warp Cores Mk XII
• Advanced Fleet Singularity Warp Cores Mk XII
• Elite Fleet Warp Cores Mk XII
• Elite Fleet Singularity Warp Cores MK XII
• Miner Duty Officers
• Mining Duty Officer Assignments

How do I access the Dilithium Mine?You can find the Dilithium Mine holding in the holdings tab in your fleet window. All fleets will have access to the Dilithium Mine space map immediately. However, Tier 1 of the holding’s main track must be unlocked before fleet members can enter the mine.

Where is the Dilithium Mine?The physical location of the Dilithium Mine is near the Dilithium Mining station in the Beta Ursae Block. However, you can unlock a transwarp option that will transport you from your Starbase to the Dilithium Mine.


 So, what do you all think? Shall we jump on this? Or finish up the current Base and Embassy projects first? Both?

Since Di is the main resource required for practically everything else, it makes sense to work on this.

If we can roll our dilithium from the mine into other things in the starbase then upgrading this when it becomes available should be a top priority.

I particularly noted the 3 (to me) discounts obvious in the trio of tracks.

Main Track: 3 tiers of Dilithium Input costs;

Trade Sub-Track: Three tiers of Item and Commodity Input Discounts;

Developmant sub-track: Three tiers of Fleet Mark fleet project input discounts.

 This mine will greatly help the Fleet star base progression.

From what I understand after reading all of the notes on this, the Fleet Mine won't produce dilithium (Di) on it's own.  Rather it provides discounts and additional methods for players to earn Di just like we already do now.  I'm quite happy about this development though; it provides excellent benefits and yet more ways for members to contribute to the Fleet.  And I cannot understate how much the Di discount will come in VERY handy.

Of more importance, in my opinion, is the fact that projects that require duty officers now combine Sci & Med and Ops & Eng.  This was actually quite the bottleneck and by freeing this up, it will allow many projects to complete faster.

Im at the mine wandering around again and I still cant get any mining  UI to pop up.

Talk to the guy standing by the forcefield before you exit the Di Mine base. He has a mission similar to the Ferengi on the regular mine that you have to pick up before it will let you mine. Then it will highlight areas on the minimap to go to.

talk to the other NPCs too. they are vendors. one sells warp cores, another sells consoles, yet another sells DOFFs and of particular note, one offers Doff missions which farm dil and other cool stuff.

Apparently i had a little bug the first time I went there.  No quest objectives on my maps.  So I didnt wander far enough from the door to see the quest objectives.  

Glad I finally found the place though.  Probably took me three hours of searching forums and wandering the starbase, not to mention the useless answers people would give me if I asked.
