A main site Banner???

Do not know if the Senior Staff of Lotus Fleet Remember but I was asking what games LF plays besides STO.

From the responses it seems only STO and Neverwinter, I also said I was going to do something an image for lotus fleet.

Well here it is, its a New Banner for the Main site, it does not have to be used but opinions and such are welcome.

It is the same size as the banner you already have.

Apologies for that, but there is only so much you can fit on one banner I can easily remove the Neverwinter image and leave the sto there!

Well, we're a Star Trek Fleet first, and a gaming community second. Just because people play other games, doesn't mean we necessarily want to advertise it. As for the STO image, I'd rather not use something so obviously pulled from the game's advertising material itself... it would make us look a little hokey.

That being said, it is definitely a pretty and eye-catching piece of art. Very good job!

However, I would also note that we also like to represent our RP ships in the banner. Currently we have no Defiant-class.

The problem is that we're currently trying to come up with a model of our unique Lotus-class vessel (the USS Horizon). Right now I am slowly working through using a modelling tool to create it. If I ever get to the point where that is done, we will be able to take shots of it from any angle we need for whatever promotional material we need to make. When combined with the fact that we can do the same in STO for the USS Phoenix (a creation by Jeff, based on the Assault Cruiser), then at that point we will definitely want to elicit your assistance to improve our banner.

Actually, if you could remove the hexagonal images and the Defiant-class, it could be considered as a temporary banner until we add the ships in (pending approval at our next Flag Officers' meeting).

Yeah... I would agree with keeping it a Star Trek theme... even if it's not an STO image in place of Neverwinter.

Maybe like adding a female using a tricorder to complement the male using a phaser.

Also, we currently have two RP ships:

The USS Horizon (Image already in the banner)

I can easily put in a Sovereign Class ship and removing the hex panels and Defiant Class would be no problem.

So I can either place a Soverign class or even a Galaxy Class on it or have one without a ship?
