Star Trek Renegades

If you've logged into STO recently then you might have noticed the Startrek.com exclusive news item which talks about Tim Russ reprising his role as Tuvok in upcoming STO content. If you watch the video interview with Tim he mentions Star Trek Renegades, a project he's working on.

I googled it and found their website http://startrekrenegades.com/home/ and watched the teaser trailers and was really quite impressed.

Now granted, this project is definitely not traditional Star Trek, it seems much grittier but I kind of like the idea behind it.

This crew also intermingles at times with the Star Trek Continues crew as well.

Timewise though, Renegades occurs 10 years after Voyager returns from the Delta quadrant, while STC occurs at the start of the 4th year of TOS.

Vic Mignogna who's put together Star Trek Continues and play Kirk also has played a Cardassian "Garis"  in Renegades.

Chekov (Walter Koenig) has been involved with this too, along with Robert Picardo, Sean Young and others.
