I'm excited to give this a try.  It is a 10 man though.  Dev blog Link.

I wonder if they've changed the event any...I distinctly remember CE being a gigantic pain in the backside to kill.

It is far easier now. I've done it twice with no problems. The shards do not heal it ridiculous amounts anymore, so you can actually damage the entity. It's big power is its absorption phase where it absorbs all damage, then unleashes it in an aoe burst. You should stop firing at the entity when it starts absorbing and move outside of the 10km range to be sure to avoid any burst damage.

This is a fleet event to plan to be sure.

Well... perhaps the third time will actually be a charm.

Now it is official... and on record: Lotus Fleet defeated the Crystalline Entity... and twice in a row without a single loss!

Seriously though...has everyone defeated it at least 14 times to get the 50K dilithium?  Good stuff!

I've defeated it over 14 times already.

After the 14 times, defeat it more times for fleet marks!

Unfortunately I didn't know about the "one per day rule" until it was too late
