As I said, it would have been nice to tell us that this is what mattered to them and that it was the real problem... because in everything they officially stated regarding our "unworthiness", not even one sentence was about interactions or relationships or chats or anything of that ilk. It was all about providing.
So it was also with the other "ousted" fleet previously, as far as I heard.
They can tell you may things in their chat to justify themselves. But when they send us one message, when they speak officially to the fleet and not to a game-buddy, it's to tell us that we do not contribute enough and often enough to in-game projects; not because we are aloof or inconsiderate or impolite or uncooperative or uninvolved socially.
As we say here in Quebec: "les bottines doivent suivre les babines" ( roughly translated: legs must follow lips).
You might however be right in one regard; we might not be ready and/or willing for Armada status. We have to face the fact that we are a small fleet now; with a long and excellent history and good accomplishments, yes, but after 8 years, we are not a major fleet in any sense of the word. Being in an Armada might be beyond our current capabilities and/or needs, at least for the moment.
But that being said, anything I saw and heard about this Armada gives me absolutely no regret in leaving it. And as Redding said, I too felt absolutely no difference with being with them from when we were not. But then, I'm a bad loner playing very sporadically these days so I'm not the best judge on that.
As for the first one, please note that we left it merely days after joining because they were totally unresponsive and seemingly dead but in name only and it was to join this one. To use your image, it was just a flirt we dumped for what we thought a good marital prospect that fell flat after a few months of shared life, because she/he was only involved for the money we could bring into the household.
But of course now she/he complains to others that we "never talked."
