STO Trouble

It is illogical to go elsewhere for STO info.

STO Trouble

Since the latest maintenance event, I can't get STO to load.  The cryptic splash screen comes up, but the load times out before making any progress. Snyone else with this issue or have a solution? Thanks

 I had this problem some time ago, when my ARC launcher failed to update ... ever! I finally had to un-install STO and the ARC launch system entirely. Then, I launched STO through Steam, and was able to reaquire my access to the game.

Steam can be installed using the upper right "Install Steam" icon on this page ...

I would first try uninstalling and re-installing the ARC launcher.  If that doesn't work, then uninstall and re-install STO.

Thanks for the recommendations. I was searching my computer for the ARC Launcher when I received a message to update Norton Security Suite. After I did, I tried STO, and signed into the game. Doesn't seem like they should have been linked. Maybe others had the same problem and Cryptic fixed it. But, alls well that ends well. thanks.
