Not likely... reinstalling the game and updating it changed nothing. Still tells me there is a fatal error with my graphic card which has the latest drivers and works fine everywhere else but at Cryptic, be it STO, CO or NW.
Career over I guess.

Re: problem loging in
Not that I would like to do this, but reformatting the hard drive may do the trick. I had to install the Arc on both of my computers; everything runs fine. Note that sometimes when there is an update and a patch must occur, I log into Arc just fine, hit play which starts the patch, it downloads, then fails to play. I simply close and hit "play" again from Arc and it runs fine.
Sorry to hear of the major issue Kheren.

Re: problem loging in
I just re-installed Win 8... again... a clean wipe of the C drive myself since yesterday because I was having issues with several different things. And this was after I got STO operating again.
It's taken a lot of time getting all my programs, games, applications, etc... up to par again, but everything is running faster and smoother. I also discarded stuff that I wasn't really using anymore... so everything is more streamlined.
The only real losses were it wiped everything I had done in Simcity and Plants vs Zombies, including my Zen garden
At least my HD Kindle still has all of my P v Z stuff on that version.
I'll also need to be re set-up in TS3 again. It's loaded and running but I don't have access to anything anymore... i.e. no rank.
Just something to consider...

Re: problem loging in
For 3 days I've been trying to log in. Arc loads just fine, but the STO launcher wouldn't go any where. I assumed the problem was at Perfect World's end. Today, i loaded ARC, started STO and a small patch occured, and now I am in game! brilliant.
So, anyone know what the heck was going on with the STO launcher?
