- Monday-Tuesday- Saturday: until 19h00 eastern
Wednesday: after 22h00 eastern
Thursday-Friday-Sunday: anytime day or night - I have TS3, Skype, Mumble and Ventrilo with headset and mike.
Star Trek Experience
Please describe your overall experience and knowledge about Star Trek, including the shows, canon, and concepts.
- In short; I'm involved weekly, if not daily in Trek since the first aired episode in 1966, be it in TV, films, comics, novels, magazines, non-fiction, wargames, tabletop, RPG (paper, text and live action) and video games on consoles and PC up to and including STO. I have also a good knowledge/interest in both science and military and I am a staunch advocate of the Roddenberry vision, of canon and the logic/consistency of both (so don't talk to me of the Abramsverse unless it is to destroy it! Which is a story idea I have for the Millenium btw).
Creative Writing Experience
Please describe the experience you've had in creative writing and/or RP.
- Started writing my own original stories at the age of 11... and yes it was a Star Trek story! (today I'm a graduate in Literature, Communication and Cinema and currently a freelance writer and aspiring novelist).
- Started RP in 1980 with D&D and played/GM through nearly 20 different game systems in the following 30 years on at least a weekly basis (including 3 versions of Star Trek RPG game systems).
- On a side note, played for 10 years the wargame Starfleet Battles, giving me a sharp practical understanding of ships, technologies and maneuvers and socio-politics in the Trek universe.
- Started text based RP in 2008 (again with Trek!) and played daily ever since. Joined LF RP a few months later (Story Captive Starbase) and never stopped since, cumulating over 15 completed stories (including 2 fleet actions), 6 of them as captain.
- I also novelized the first 4 stories of the USS Lotus, the 4 stories of the USS Artemis, 2 stories of Starbase 10 and 1 Fleet Action.
- Recently joined a French text-based RP site to look at new ideas and keep my RP skills sharp and diversify them further... and just because I love RP and Trek!
