A NEW DAWN; a Lotus Fleet cadet adventure

This thread will be the posting thread where we will be implementing our first 2020 RP gaming within our very own Lotus Fleet Star Trek Universe; a universe where the Borg are no more, a truce exists between the Federation and the Undine, a strange cosmic anomaly allows for travel through time and other parallel universes and the Romulan Empire is whole and thriving, the time altering events of the Hobus catastrophe having being averted when the multiverse-destroying alternate timeline was erased; all thanks to the heroic devotion to duty of Lotus Fleet, the elite of the elite of Starfleet.

Now a new dawn is rising for a hopeful new generation of cadets, eagerly awaiting to follow in the footsteps of legendary Lotus Fleet officers like Admiral Nova, Fleet Captains Samji and Speaker-of-Names and starship Captains like Redding and Jureth Oseno. After four years of Academy training on board the Lotus Fleet Academy starship, the USS Aurora, a squad of fourth-year cadets is completing it's studying and training curriculum prior to their assignment to their one year cadet cruise and final evaluation for graduation.

And as is the norm for Lotus Fleet, they will find themselves in the thick of things sooner than expected. ''Risk is our business'' once said legendary Captain James T. Kirk; those young upcoming officers will find out no words truer were ever spoken.

We will try to make this story as flexible as possible to allow participation, especially from our three players who will all three have the chance to experience RP command in this adventure.
