Greeting Fleet!
This thread is about an idea forwarded from one of our STT players, Lee Resolution.
First off I want to acknowledge Lee for his commitment and idea. As the youth say ... "Awesome Sauce!"
Here is his proposal quoted for consideration:

Migration to Discord presents a unique opportunity to better integrate STT members into the larger Lotus Family. Since Discord allows STT members to interact with Lotus Fleet outside the STT platform, further migration to lotusfleet.org may not seem as daunting. I submit this list of recommended STT awards/medals with the hope that, if adopted, STT members realize that they are just as welcomed and valued by Fleet Leadership as the STO and RP members.
I have not included awards for weekly events because I believe the existing Lotus awards should be considered. I am proposing STT based on verifiable achievement. I think STT leadership should have the flexibility to award existing fleet awards, as they see fit.
My goal was to make these attainable for all levels of play (even if only the initial award) provided members are diligent and fully engaged. I also recommend deleting the membership if players leave the STT Fleet.
I think this is an excellent time to consider rewarding STT players for game and fleet achievements. I have a few ideas for the award designs based on variations of STT graphics but I don’t know enough about the various Lotus emblems.
The Award/Medal (W/ Silver Palm Leaf Cluster): Award is based on the completion of all three levels of each Galaxy Mission and Distress Call as found in the Galaxy Map Arena.
- Award for the Completion of ALL Goals for 1 One Mission AND 1 One Distress Call;
- Second Award for the Completion of ALL Goals for 3 Three Additional Missions or Distress Calls. (With Palm Leaf);
- Third Award for the Completion of ALL Goals for 3 Three Additional Mission or Distress Call. (With Silver Palm);
- Forth Award for the Completion of ALL Goals for 3 Three Additional Mission or Distress Call. (With Cluster).
The Award/Medal (with Bronze and Silver Star Cluster): Award based on the Max Level Immortalized Crew as defined by the Cryostasis Vault Collection.
- First Award for the completion ALL Milestone Goals for (1) One Collection;
- Second Award for the Completion of ALL Milestone Goals of (5) Five Collections. (With Star);
- Third Award for the Completion of ALL Milestone Goals of (5) Five Additional Collections. (With Bronze Star);
- Forth Award for the Completion of ALL Milestone Goals of (5) Five Additional Collection. (With Silver Star);
- Fifth Award for the Completion of ALL Milestone Goals of (5) Five Additional Collection. (With Cluster);
Awards based on Voyage and Gauntlet Activity as defined by the Daily Achievements Tab.
Award based on completion of 1000 Rounds of the Gauntlet Arena. Additional Number Awards at the 2500, 5000, 10,000 etc.
Award based on completion of 100 Voyage Dilemmas in the Galaxy Map Voyages Arena. Additional Number Awards at the 250, 500, 1000, 1500 etc.
Single Awards for certain verifiable rewards:
Award based on Achievement of top rank #1 in the Gauntlet Event.
We may want to consider recognizing the Gauntlet’s rare portal reward i.e. Guinan and Traveler, so that FTP players are on equal footing to win this same award. I would limit this award to a single issuance.
Award based on Achievement of completing both parts of all 14 Faction Missions, as found on the Factions screen from the Command Deck.
I suggest under activity awards, which is easily verified by the game Avatar i.e. Targ for the second anniversary or the Tribble for participating as part of the Bridge Crew Beta Testing.
I considered another award based on achieving the 20-hour Voyage but unlike ranking number 1 in gauntlet, a single 20 hour seemed too easy. Individual and Squad Awards/Medals based on Event Performance I believe we definitely need an award to recognize this activity but I don’t want weekly awards since they may potentially discourage participation. (i.e. What’s the point Squadron X always wins).
Perhaps it is best to utilize the existing Lotus Fleet awards on a semi-annual or annualized basis. I think a top squadron award should be established. However, the ability to adjust for membership changes and evaluate weekly squadron rankings seems very manual and therefore outside of the scope of our ability. If there are any other measurable items that the Fleet Commander has the ability to track over time, let me know so I can consider recommending additional recognition.
Ultimately, I think these 5-7 awards are enough of a merit system to keep STT members on track with the rest of the Lotus Fleet Community or perhaps, like me, explore other aspects of the Lotus Fleet. Please let me know your thoughts.
Respectfully Submitted,
Lee Resolution

Re: Star Trek Timelines Awards Proposal.
I have consulted the STT Wiki and went through it regarding the first Award Proposal above; to whit: The Award/Medal (W/ Silver Palm Leaf Cluster): Award is based on the completion of all three levels of each Galaxy Mission and Distress Call as found in the Galaxy Map Arena.
First, I would point out that 'missions' are based within 'Episodes', and as such are listed on the wiki. There are ( not including the Tutorial) 8 Episodes containing 115 missions. Reading the above, does 'Galaxy Mission' mean these episode missions? All three levels of each mission and Distress Call ( There are 3 Distress Calls with 8+8+5=21 total missions) would be ... 115+21 = 136 missions @ 3 levels x 115 missions ... so ... 21 Distress + [3 x 115]missions = 366 missions? Is that the award for the first one?
Am I doing this right Lee?

Re: Star Trek Timelines Awards Proposal.
The term Mission (Capital M) was taken directly from the Galaxy Map screen. The 11 Missions are broken down into 8 Episodes and 3 Distress Calls however in practicality, I believe there is no real difference, between them as they are essentially the same activities or missions (small m).
The “Stars” above the icons represent a player achieving each of the required three “critical success ratings” during the mission. The missions are repeated for every difficulty levels (Normal, Elite, Epic). So, in your example of 115 missions, a player would experience at least 3 iterations of each mission (345 mission runs) while trying to achieve the 1,335 stars. However

The first award is One Episode AND One Distress Call. The Award “device” (W/ Silver Palm Leaf Cluster) is used to annotate the highest level of achievement or completion 11/11.
First Award = One Episode AND One Distress Call: So, if Episode 6 and Klingon Empire Distress Calls are completed the player would qualify for the initial award.
2nd Award = Palm Leaf for 5/11 completed;
3rd Award = Silver Palm = 8/11;
4th Award = Cluster 11/11 or in total W/ Silver Palm Leaf Cluster.

Re: Star Trek Timelines Awards Proposal.
My apologies for my technical inability to produce the pictures in the post, as well as the obvious math error 345*3=1,035 not 1,335.
Hope the above helps clarify the intent and demonstrates the amount of effort required to achieve each level.
