Check out this recent creation celebrating the 30th anniversary of 1994's "Star Trek: Generations"
How amazing it would be to create a new series or film with this level of options with iconic characters!

In case you're interested in a follow-up, here's an interview (posted yesterday) with Sam Witwer, the actor who recreated Kirk in 765874 - Unification, with William Shatner's blessing.

If you remember Yeoman J.M. Colt from the rejected Star Trek pilot episode "The Cage" later incorporated in the TOS episode "The Menagerie", you may enjoy this very brief video "765874 - Memory Wall" as well.

The Roddenberry Archive: Return to Tomorrow (with “Q”)

This is an amazing project that digitally recreates the bridges and other key locations on all the incarnations of the Enterprise, along with props, DS9, etc...

You can virtually stroll around these areas. Seems ideal for RP, storytellers, and future series/movie creators... in addition to the archival value!

Perhaps from a previous post... nevertheless... giving "thanks" on Thanksgiving 2024 the the wonderful vision of Star Trek along with the iconic sets, characters, production, etc... and how it all began.

Star Trek luminaries Mike and Denise Okuda explore the production and inception of Gene Roddenberry's 1964 "Star Trek" Pilot - 'The Cage' - and its profound impact on Star Trek history.

Beautiful recreations of the episodes's sets, characters and locations created by the Roddenberry Archive team in tandem with testimony from the original cast and crew - including Director Robert Butler - memorialize The Cage's legacy for generations to come.

"The Roddenberry Archive presents an in-depth interview with legendary actor/writer/director William Shatner.

During the conversation, Mr. Shatner discusses a series of wide-ranging topics beginning with his upbringing and the discovery at a very young age of his love of acting into his time in the theater and landing the role of Captain James T. Kirk on “Star Trek”.

Mr. Shatner describes his relationship with show creator Gene Roddenberry as well as co-stars Leonard Nimoy and DeForest Kelley and discusses the science fiction genre and describes his recent journey into space."

They are doing great work trying to revive the true spirit of Star Trek. Probably also sounding the market to see if there is still appetite for it after all they have done since 2009.

They could already see it if they cared to promote fan films instead of squashing them... but at least they give us a few gems like this.
