You can get a uniform at cosplaysky. That's where STARFLEET recommends people to go.

It depends upon how much money you have to spend and what quality you are shooting for.
If you want quality and have the funds, I would watch:
http://www.anovos.com/
Anovos' costumes were seen on an episode of The Big Bang Theory.
I looked at the cosplaysky site; at least for the Star Trek uniforms, they looked pretty cheap and easily recognizable as low quality/knock-offs. They might be good for other costumes though.

Re: Star Trek Uniforms and insignias
Thanks for posting that find Joester. It seems to be a jack-of-all-trades site which could definitely come in handy. A bit of advice; when ordering your rank pips and communicator, do not get the reflective metallic/high-shine insignias.
1) Those are metal and are heavier and will pull material down.
2) It's obvious that they are "fake". By that I mean that they are not replicas of what was used during filming.

Re: Star Trek Uniforms and insignias
I have ordered 2 costumes/uniforms from Shadowdale Creations.
The first was a First Contact line officer uniform. I also ordered it as a 1-piece jumpsuit thinking that it would be high-quality and similar to my flight suit. It was not and it was low quality.
The second order was for the First Contact Admiral's uniform jacket (and belt w/buckle). This was high quality, made to fit, and I still own it. In fact, it won a costume contest this past Halloween.
Shadowdale also does a marvelous job with pips and communicators; his is not medal but composite that looks like what costuming used during filming. Customer service is good (he shipped my admiral's jacket to the hotel in Vegas for the Trek Con so I could have it).
