Unable to access RP site

greetings,

For the last three days, I have been unable to access the RP site. My browser just flickers trying to connect but nothing happens even after many minutes of waiting.

I have cleaned up my computer several times through anti virus, anti spyware/adware, file and cookie cleaning, restarted numerous times but nothing works. This is the only place on the entire webz I can't access anymore.

Am I the only one with the problem? Help will be aprreciated.

The RP site has been working fine for me. There may be something going on on your end.

Have you also tried unpluging the power to your modem for a few moments? 

That might sound a little weird, but doing that solved a few issues for me before.

Also try using a different browser, just in case that is the problem. It does seem to be working fine for me too. Also try pressing Ctrl+F5 while on the RP site. If you want, I can try looking at it sometime through TeamViewer. I might be free tonight starting at 11 EST, but then I'll be pretty busy all weekend.

I had no problems with the RP side ... so I hope you get access figured out.

Did the Fleet Admiral revoke your clearance level codes?

You must be right BLZBUB because I tried all the suggested options and then some:

changing browser; Google chrome result: negative. Mozilla Firefox result: negative.

Dsiconnecting and reconnecting modem; result: negative

Using CTRL+F5; result: negative

Using antimalware 6 times; result: negative

Using antivirus 4 times; result: negative

Using system cleaner twice; result: negative

Rebooting 8 times; result: negative

trying to connect from different points (favorites list, fleet site, browser shortcut, full address in the browser search etc); result: negative

Checking internet connectivity; Perfect and instantaneous absolutely everywhere on the webz, except the RP site. It tries to connect continuously and never does. Result: negative.

This is very frustrating and i see no apparent issue to this. Obviously something is wrong from my end but I have no clue what it could be since I have virtually no other problem execpt connecting there. I can come to the main site and go to the Academy fine; but not to the only place I need to go most.

So until this is resolved, the RP will either have to go on hold or somebody take over for me.

Kheren, I can copy and paste recent info from posts and either PM or Skype them to you.

After which I can post any responses for you... until you are able to get this resolved. 

Not the ultimate solution... but at least a band-aid remedy. 

Just let me know if this would help in the interim.

Kheren, if you're free tomorrow night (4/7) between 7 and 11, I can take a look through Teamviewer to try to see what is going on, if you are willing to share your computer screen.

Well after some thorough computer cleaning seems that I am back.

EDIT: oops spoke too soon. The RP site still does not log in but send me back here. Guess I need some further cleaning.

NEW EDIT: everything looks fine now.
