Unable to add new topic/reply to thread

I am currently unable to post in the RP admin thread of the RP section; specifically the Message from the RP Admin which I now need to use, being the new RP admin. I have no button to add a topic nor reply to a current post.
I also does not have any access anymore to the admin control panel of the fleet website. Thus, I can't correct things myself.
I would appreciate to be able to post and fully moderate all parts of the RP section on the website so that I can best serve the needs of the Fleet in this regard.
On a parallel note, the RP site seems to suddenly have shortened considerably the permitted length of a post. It becomes full (meaning auto-deleting text at the end when somenone add something to it) at about half the previous lenght of posting, causing the loss of some of the hard work of our players.
With the new RP season around the corner (and needing to announce it as of now) t would be much appreciated if this would be corrected as soon as possible.
