Lotus Fleet.
It has been suggested that our current selection of signature ships is somewhat outdated. Currently there are 41 selections available for your signature; the icon in your profile signature that everyone gets to admire when you post something. These 41 run from the TOR Constitution up to Sovereign class, and also our star base.
What this thread will ask for is submission's toward generating more signature ships for the database. Our current selection is good but we are asking for more current designs to augment the selection. These may be from any era or timeline in regards to the Star Trek Universe's: TOR; TNG; Movies; Reboot; Star Trek Timelines; etc. .
Keep in mind that the signature pictures should be .img or convertible to .img for our use.
Looking at my signature below, you will note that the entirety of that is 600 x 150, but the ship itself is 300 x 138, so make sure the sizes on the submissions is compatible to the latter, or can be trimmed to fit and still include the entirety of the icon you are submitting.
** Special Note: There is no cut off date for submissions but be aware that we currently do not have a graphics artist to work on these rightaway, so submissions may take quite some time to be added into the site for use. **
I thank you all for your interest and I look forward to seeing your submission's.
Respectfully:
Fleet Admiral BLZBUB.

Ooh, nifty!
I'll see if I can grab a decent shot of the Federation Avenger class Battlecruiser from STO... one of my favorites.

Re: Casting Call: Signature Ships Update.
Sorry guys, I seem to have confused myself. The images need to be 300x138, not 300x183 pixels right? I'll have to re-edit a few of the ones I grabbed

Re: Casting Call: Signature Ships Update.
I will have to dig through my old screen shot archive. With that said should be look only for generic shots, or are ships with names and numbers allowed?

Re: Casting Call: Signature Ships Update.
the way i pitched it to leadership was: there are loads of ships in STO now that people love to fly that arent represented in the signatures. things like avenger, gal X, the new 23c ships...
therefore, names and registries are fine because you really cant have a ship in game without them, and the sig will be so small you probably cant read it anyway.
only thing i woudl suggest is try to avoid heavily kitbashed or painted ships, and stick to the more stock looking models from cryptic so that everyone can use them if they want
