yeah, I still remember our original website, it was pretty bland in comparison.
no Academy, no shoutl box, and only about 12 members. And that was way before RP came along.
Still, as long as you're around I'll never be the oldest person here, so congratulations.

Seven years and still moving forward.
This will be surpassing TNG, Voyager and Deep Space Nine in terms of Longevity.

Congrats Athos. You were the second person to welcome me into the fleet. Which was just an ugly baby learning how to fly Galaxy classes

Hey thanks everyone...yay, I'm old! LOL While I may be technically the longest member in longevity, it's wonderful to see other legacy members like Niomo, Spawnner, Redding, BLZBUB, Kheren, Storm Windfall, etc. who are still here as well. I can't believe that it's been 7 years...and it's been quite the evolution of the Fleet too.
You're right Redding, it was pretty sparse back then... very basic website, no Academy, no RP, and no STO back then. Our membership surged at one point...we had quite the numbers, and then STO was launched. LOL Who would have thought that the release of the very game that we were anticipating and building up to would have a deleterious effect on membership! But we've managed to hang on to a core membership.
The challenge that we have moving forward is to continue to bring in new members. We've made great updates to how we accept new members, but we need to up our activity levels and recruiting efforts. Having active leadership helps with that, but EVERY SINGLE MEMBER needs to become proactive. One the things that made the Fleet a wonderful community 7 years ago was that we knew each other and did activities together.
Again, thank you for the recognition. This Fleet was built with many members working hard and being active...so the Fleet is really a testament to the efforts of many people.
LLAP Lotus Fleet!
