A heads up to all users of Google... be it googledocs or gmail or what-have-you.

5 million account names were stolen and posted on a Russian site. If your using Google, go N O W and change your passwords.

 My gmail account was accessed last night, but Google blocked the attempt to change my password because they tried to log in from Korea ... 1/2 a world away from my registered address on gmail. Guess they're not too smart. lol.

So, get to it and check your Google accounts ...  N O W ! !  ;)

As a helpful hint, Google allows you to set a cellphone text code security password thing. I've used it ever since my WoW account was hacked. Any time a non-normal pc/phone tries to access the account, I get a text with a password to enter to get into the email.

I haven't gotten any texts recently :3

Google reads every IM and email that passes through their hands.  Id suggest using this lapse as motivation to move off their service to protect your information.

In the USA they passed a bill giving the inteligence agencies the right to any information that exists and any resources they need to get it.  So unless its mythical knowledge they are collecting it.  Its a real blow to the world.

if your interested one woman tried to hide her pregnancy from the internet.  She had to do many things like not mention it in private messages on facebook since their scanned for marketing data.

Duckduckgo is an excellent search engine that doesnt keep track of yoru data.  but the big companies force you to give up some anyway.  Google bought youtube and is forcing you to give up more info if you like it or not.

That was indeed an interesting article.

It is just wrong to have all of our private conversations and information spied on and collected by these nosey corporations just as it is by government agencies, and then used as marketing tools... among who knows what else against us!
