Family and friends... and a special occasion for us as my sister who has been diagnosed with advanced bone cancer last year seems to be in remission; she's been well taken care of by the health and social system (lodging and medical attention), the cancer is almost gone (without chimiotherapy) and after her double hip surgery she feels no more pain and with a crutch walks more easily now.

This is without a doubt our best Christmas gift ever.

Yay, Kheren! That's such great news!

For me, I'm going shopping with the girlfriend later today, going to my Grandparents' for Christmas Eve and staying overnight there, Christmas Dinner, then party with some dance friends later in the evening, then work (boo) on Boxing Day (to borrow the British holiday), followed by dinner with girlfriend's parents and family. Yep, full week full of fun and festivities!

Also, I will be hosting a New Years Eve party at my place! It will likely be wild and crazy with... a few glasses of wine and board games, lol!

With your awesome and relatively new Star Trek-friendly girlfriend by your side plus hosting a New Years Eve party in your new home, it would seem that you are in for perhaps the best holiday time ever. That is fantastic! Enjoy! 

We are hosting a small family gathering here with my mother and one sister (and wife and son), who are both arriving separately this evening. The remaining siblings are literally scattered from the east coast to the west coast this year, so we will be visiting via phone and Skype throughout the holidays.

Two of my musician friends are each hosting New Years Eve shindigs December 31st at 8:00pm... so we'll be splitting our time traveling from one celebration to the other as we prepare to ring in the new year. 

So again... Happy Holidays to all of our fleet members!!!

Indeed. Got back from Christmas festivities with my family yesterday; my sister spent the entire time walking by herself without even using a cane! Incredible improvement from just last year when she could barely stand with a full ambulator her back halfway bent without suffering intense pain and fatigue.

needless to say the holydays are quite cheerful this year. Hope you all had and still having such a wonderful time as well.
