Today was the decommission of my love, the HMCS Iroquois.
Although I served her briefly, I hold her in my heart forever.

There's a good chance I at least saw her when my own ship USS Wasp was in Halifax several years back. Fair winds and following seas to your lady of the ocean.

Despite the best efforts of rust and poor ship design the ship I served on, the USS Vella Gulf, is still out fighting the good fight. I currently work as a nuclear inspector and the project I am working on is defueling the USS Enterprise CVN-65. Talk about a ship with memories.
