She's a beast of a ship for sure...though the Zumwalt Class is so expensive they are only going to make three of them, and almost scrapped the project altogether.
I would suspect though that the technology will find its way into future ship designs.

i hope his performance is outstanding so that he can someday be the captain of the new Enterprise carrier. although i wonder what other countries would think if we gave the enterprise command to captain james kirk. world wide eye roll?
