Lotus Fleet Combadge

A bit of a gift to the fleet! This isn't connected to RP at all (unless it's desired to be!) But I thought it'd be fun to render out a Lotus Fleet combadge.

I'm in the beginning stages of photoshopping together a character image for Trea of Praxiar. I found myself staring at combadges for the majority of the day and realized...hey. Those gold shapes in the back keep changing. Why not apply the LF logo to that?

Great work Caltern. Both very Trek and very us, unique and distinctive... stylish and elegant. I would even propose it to make it officially our own combadge, if not our actual logo
I particularly the left-tilted one. Looks more 3D\high-tech because of it.

That happens to be my favorite angle of the 3 as well! And I would be honored if you'd like it to be our combadge and logo.

I can certainly endorse that idea Kheren. The left-tilt one does seem to 'stand-out' more.

Obviously the USS Horizon mockup would be replaced when the model is actually finished. But. What do you think?

I'm not sure about the highlighted parts on the far left... and it would be great to also have the starbase there as well... maybe the letters could be gold like the back of the combadge instead of dark (not sure it would look good with a purple halo though... or silver like the delta?)
But all in all, it is already way better than what we currently have.
Now, if I only knew how to remove and replace it...

Well, the 3 highlighted words are a tad garish yes. Perhaps not highlited, and perhaps smaller type than the main LOTUS FLEET letters. So they do not take to much attention away from the main words lotus fleet.
I think perhaps silver letters to match the center delta, without so thick of a halo. just a lightly perceptable one maybe?
A star base would be nice. lol. Not a deal breaker though. haha.
Sure is starting to look nice though Caltern.
