Hello once again to Lotus fleet. I have returned after having been gone for some time now. I think it’s been about 5 years now. so I’m going to catch you guys up on what I’ve been doing in that time.
So after my mission trip I came back to the fleet for a little bit but ended up being to busy with work and family to really be much fun. I also was a little disappointed in the progress star trek online had made in the two years I had been gone. I thought they could have done better, my opinion hasn’t really changed in that area. So I kind of fell away from the star trek gaming world and started playing games like Eve online or Minecraft with some of my RL friends and family. I also got in to a game called star made, which was a very fun Minecraft style space building game that came out long before space engineers came out. I was so taken by this game that I even started a YouTube channel that ended up almost completely focusing on that game.

While I was entranced in this game, which I was for about three years, I ended up building a lot of really cool builds but of course my favorite build, and you will have to forgive me if you don’t like the kelvin universe, was the JJ-prise.

I mainly built that ship because it didn’t have an official floor plan like almost all the other ships did. So I could build the ships inside however I wanted. It took my almost two and half years to build but I build the ship 1:1 scale. I was proud of myself. I never quite finished the interior, but the outside of the ship was fished and it looks almost movie accurate, at least as far you can get with meter sized blocks. I have to thank my engineering training from the Academy here at lotus fleet for teaching me all that I needed to know about Starfleet engineering, so that I could build the interior. Alas Star made ended up not living up to its potential as well as STO. Don’t get me wrong I wouldn’t mind playing either game again, but I ended up not liking to play star made just as much as STO as it didn’t feel like I was getting anywhere with either. Plus, I meet a girl and got married to her and that kind of sidetracked me from gaming that much, for those of you that are married you know what I mean. So now days I kind of dabble in games here and there. I found a really cool game called Elite Dangerous that lets you explore the entire galaxy and its vary cool. I also found a new pre alpha game a lot like star made was, but am taking it kind of slow on the hype train for that one. Hoping it will be something good but giving the developer time to get it farther along before I cast judgment. I also played a little space engineers but no cool builds in that one.
I’m hoping to get a new Youtube channel up and running again. I’m wanting to make a gaming channel that focuses on all things sci-fi and then have a sub channel in it that deal exclusively with star trek content. If any of you guys want to be a part of that give me a PM. Will be doing stuff in STO so love to see you guys there.
Anyway looking forward to getting to know new people here and catching up with old friend.

I have an online friend in Louisiana who is into Minecraft. He builds large structures also, but mostly castle's, et=al. That Enterprise is spectacular! Is it finished now?
I myself never got an interest in that game, nor Kerbal either.
I am currently into Farming Simulator 17, which was on sale on Steam last month. There has not been any updates on the Eve thread for quite some time however, so no idea what is going on in that galaxy.
